Sometimes referred to as “the Poor Man’s Fantasia,” Make Mine Music (1946) was the first of the “package features” Walt Disney released after World War II. Instead of Bach and Beethoven, the artists illustrated segments set to popular music by Benny Goodman, Dinah Shore, and the Andrews Sisters. Originally set to Debussy’s “Claire de Lune,” “Blue Bayou” remains an atmospheric evocation of the Everglades. “The Whale Who Wanted to Sing at the Met” is a charming fantasy about a cetacean with an extraordinary voice. “Peter and the Wolf,” based on the Prokofiev score, offers brightly colored designs, but the narration by Sterling Holloway seems superfluous. “All the Cats Join In” is an upbeat evocation of the Bobby Sox era, but “Casey at the Bat” and “Johnny Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet” feel self-conscious and unfunny.

Trance NationTrance music is usually played by a tempo of between 130 and 140 bpm, featuring repeating melodic synthesizer phrases, and a musical form that builds up and down throughout. More or less the goal of online trance is to create music that is easily accessible, preferably perfect for dancing moods, and mood-enhancing in all aspects.

Trance is similar to techno because it also uses a consistent, fundamental beat without an overbearing bassline and trance music tend to have a happy vibe that builds up during long crescendos. Online trance music is factually projected to tempt a type of hypnotic trance over the listeners. The range of the trance genres, playing online, falls between of 130-150 BPM and sometimes it may drop below 120 BPM but it generally does not exceed 150 BPM, as this begins to border hardcore electronic music, which is another genre in itself.

My dad left us his musical instruments(3 guitars, 4 fiddles, 2 mandolins). They were getting mildewed in the closet so mom wants to hang them on the wall. This climate is hot, humid, rainy, and the sunlight is strong enough to fade walnut. I was thinking a room facing north shaded by trees would be best. Anybody know? Most of these instruments are junk but the guitars are top of the line Martins and Gibsons, I want to give them the best care.
